It doesn’t get more fun than Cari and Jason. Their sense of humor and genuine hearts made an impression on our team not to be forgotten.

We’re always inspired by the life paths that lead our couples to the wedding, and Cari and Jason’s had it’s share of bumps and turns. But, sometimes trials have a way of sweetening experiences, and theirs was no exception. A father walking his daughter down the aisle is an experience a bride never forgets, especially when weeks before it didn’t seem possible. The events surrounding the time prior brought them closer together, and forged bonds between families well before the ceremonies of the day.

AMIT AND MADHU

Where to begin…

The breathtaking fairytale whirlwind left us inspired by not only the meaningful traditions surrounding the traditional Hindu wedding, but also the love between and surrounding Amit and Madhu.

Our favorite aspect of our approach to Scinema Wedding Films is discovering the life journey that lead two people to each other. There is nothing more inspiring for our scinematographers than seeing the look in someone’s eyes when they remember the moment they knew this was the person they were supposed to be with for the rest of their lives, so when we discovered that Amit and Madhu considered themselves blessed just to have the opportunity to choose who they would be with, it took our breath away. The love they felt for one another inspired their family’s to bless a love marriage despite generation after generation of arranged marriages. We will never be able to forget the three days of color, beauty, and love that was Amit and Madhu.

Of course, they had to drag us kicking and screaming to Cancun, Mexico, but we made do, so don’t feel too bad for us.

ANJELAH AND MANWELL

When Anjelah Johnson (aka Bon Qui Qui) and Manwell Reyes (the incomparable talent from Group1Crew ) contacted us we were so excited about the prospect of filming such an amazingly talented creative couple. We knew it would be an awesome experience, and everything about the day exceeded our expectations, including the lovely getaway nook Oceano Hotel in Half Moon Bay, California. Our scinematographers were even able to test out underwater camera casing in the ever-warm-and-toasty northern California ocean waters (thank you inventors of the wet suit!). This particular Highlight Film was a Same Day Edit, which, if you’re unfamiliar with, is not only the reason why our Director is on Rogaine, but also one of our favorite ways of sharing what we do. Our crazy-talented scinematographers and a pair of the fastest editing hands in the West allow us to create exactly what you see here and show the film at the reception. There’s never a dry eye in the house!
